You (we) belong

Today I woke up and felt super connected to this world and knowing what I’ve been through, provides me with compassion to you. Because as I feel things, I know you do too. We are all so connected and live through the same high’s and low’s. Although at different times throughout our journey’s.

There can be times you feel alone. You have your own thoughts running through your mind that no one may ever know. Only you know what you’ve gone through and how your experiences truly affect your heart. And there are some things we may never share with another.

Maybe you reflect on your life and wonder - have I done it right? Am I on the right path? Only you and your own spirit know that answer and I promise you, there is nothing wrong.

So today, give some thought about how much you matter. To all the people in your life - past, present, future. Give gratitude to the life that has got you this far. Give a stranger a smile and send them a silent blessing. For they too are a part of the grand picture of life. Whether someone is a stranger or a friend, we all deserve to experience kindness from another.

In my morning of connection, the song ‘We Belong’ by Pat Benatar wouldn’t leave my mind. I have no idea why, but today, listen to it as if I’m singing it to you.

Let’s never give up on love or on each other. We belong to all of it. 💜

Kristi Hiller

I am an energetic gal who is captivated by the human condition. I believe in exploring all life experiences to learn and grow. Throughout my 20+ years of studying and learning to love and accept myself - no matter what, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and lightness, and a knowing that only I can create my own reality. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Let me help you get to yours!
