Affirmations for 2022
Hey there!
I’ve written to you about affirmations before (back in May), but since this is a daily practice I thought it would be OK for a friendly reminder. And of course I write what I’m learning, and I’ve been guided to reflect on my affirmations again for the start of this year.
For further information and a fabulous teacher of affirmations, I recommend the work of Louise Hay. She was the teacher of all things self love.
Affirmations remind us to keep our minds focused on what’s good and what you’d like to have/be/feel. Here are some of mine:
I am supported by the universe and everything is always working out for me
Life loves me and I love life
Miracles, blessings and abundance show up for me every day. I notice even the smallest things and show my gratitude each time
I love me. I really, really love me
This God, or something better
I love my body. It takes what it needs and discards the rest
I have tons of energy and love and send it to whoever needs it
I am always a student, constantly learning and attracting more people to teach
I live with integrity and attract other people to my life who live with the same values
I surround myself with supportive, loving people
The right people show up in my life, right on time for both of us to grow and evolve
I accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. (Reinhold Niebuhr - Serenity Prayer)
If you can believe me when I say - thoughts create things, you will understand the power of using your thoughts and language in a positive way.
TRY THIS: Pay attention to your thoughts throughout the day, because awareness is the first step to change. If you hear yourself saying anything negative or something you actually don’t want - pause and redo your statement.
You are smart and these small changes will directly affect the direction AND positive experiences of your life.
