What would you do, if you could do anything?

Hey there!

I believe there is a direct link between happiness and doing what you love. Now, of course that doesn’t necessarily mean that you are being paid for what you love, but the question is, do you at least have it in your life?

Here’s a question I like to ask people - If we all got paid the same amount of money per year, what would you choose to do for work? It’s interesting how many people stumble on this.

One way to look at this is to think about what your unique qualities are. You have been given special gifts. Are you using them? You know what they are. Maybe there are some things about yourself you may underestimate and are there to be uncovered. Let these loose!

We are in a world today where people are questioning their freedom. Their lifestyles. Their choices. This is good. I think that’s why big changes come with big questions. And that’s probably why these things happen to us. We are meant to shift. Do new things. Question if we are capable of more. Or maybe we are doing too much and need to lessen the load.

Wherever you find yourself, I encourage you to pay attention to what it is you love to do. And then make sure you are doing those things on a daily basis. We are here for joy and happiness. Not struggle. Yes, there is struggle. And yes, life can be hard.

But accountability is an inside job. And your external life is a reflection of what’s going on inside of you.

You may not realize that the relationship you have with yourself has everything to do with how the world responds to you.

And how the world responds to you has everything to do with your beliefs about the world.

Enough?

😜

Do something you love to do today. I’ll be walking with a great girlfriend and catching up about our crazy week! It’s finally above zero again here in Calgary, AB!
