Self inquiry - how well do you know yourself?

Hey there amazing friend!

Self inquiry is a necessary tool for growth and success. If you don’t know and acknowledge your true self you won’t be able to show up fully as the amazing person you are. This is where we can stay small, keep in what needs to come out, blame others and question our worthiness.

An ending of anything (relationship, job, season) is an opportunity to look deeper at yourself. How did you do? Where did you mess it up? Where did you nail it? Sometimes we have an opportunity to go back and do better and sometimes not. But life only moves forward.

Who you are and how you show up is deeply personal. How others do it, is impersonal. This is a big distinction. This is called ‘staying in your own lane.’ Of course we’re going to play with others. But first, how do you play with yourself? (ha, don’t be a perv). 😉

So, for today, give some thought to where you are. How does it feel to be you? Are you being authentic? If not, why not?

Do you think something is missing in your life? If so, I suggest it might be a deeper connection to yourself.

You first. Appreciate yourself. Accept yourself. Approve of yourself. Forgive yourself. And get your ego out of it. This has nothing to do with what you’ve done. Not the stuff you’ve accumulated, look like or accolades received. This is a deep and tender love for who you are.

Your foundation has to be solid so that no matter what you build, even if it falls, it will sustain itself. Build higher, build wider, but the roots have been planted long ago. Be solid in who you are. If you’re not sure, figure it out. You matter. How you show up matters. And we need each other. To build with, to play with.

You are responsible for you. Like I said last week - don’t contract out what you need, to someone else. It’ll feel like you are always chasing and never getting to where you thought you’d be.

I’ve learned and now finally understand, that tending to my own wholeness, is where I get the strength to handle anything.

Life is the river. There will be rocks. Some big, some small and yet it keeps flowing. It will find its way through. And so will you.

All my love,
K 💛

I am an energetic gal who is captivated by the human condition. I believe in exploring all life experiences to learn and grow. Throughout my 20+ years of studying and learning to love and accept myself - no matter what, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and lightness, and a knowing that only I can create my own reality. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Let me help you get to yours!
