Do you need to change?

Hello there, perfect child of the universe! 😜

You don’t have to change. There is nothing wrong with you.

What has become very obvious to me lately though, is how important it is to want to change. To want to grow and evolve.

You have (or will have) challenges, just like me.

What do you do, when you know you want a situation to change? My answer? You have to change.

You either have to change your perspective, your response, your habit, your choices or your expectations. Why? Because people don’t change unless they want to, so you have no control over it. And a friendly reminder, no one wants to be told what to do.

So, I’m not saying here that you ‘should’ change. I am saying that if you want something in your life to change, the change has to come from within you.

Empowerment comes from knowing that regardless of what shows up, you can handle it.

Disempowerment is when you feel like something is wrong out there and you have no power to control it. But you are very powerful. You can change, and it’s quite beautiful what can happen when you do.

Is it easy? No. Our brains are wired to be habitual. Why? Because it takes energy to do something different. Making new pathways in the brain (neuroplasticity) takes time, determination, repetition and commitment. This isn’t for the faint of heart!

So, let’s stop pointing fingers, and direct our true power towards ourselves. This is liberating and a challenge that creates new energy, more confidence and better results in all areas.

Is there something in your life you’d like to change? What do you think you could do differently to get you that result?

I am an energetic gal who is captivated by the human condition. I believe in exploring all life experiences to learn and grow. Throughout my 20+ years of studying and learning to love and accept myself - no matter what, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and lightness, and a knowing that only I can create my own reality. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Let me help you get to yours!
