Are your upper limits preventing ultimate success?

Hello smarty pants!

I just finished listening to the audiobook The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks, which is what inspired me to write on this topic. I’ll keep this real simple.

We all have a tendency to sit around in our zone of comfort. Hendricks suggests that we live in our zone of genius!

I bet you can relate to this, as I do. Ever have really great things happen and then you hear that voice say, enjoy it - it won’t last. Or the popular sayings, "waiting for the other shoe to drop" or "it's just too good to be true.” According to psychology today, about 85 percent of things that people worry about never happen. This is a limit. You only have ‘so much’ good you are willing to allow in.

This is the premise of the book. I became aware of some of my own limits. Which really is just another way of noticing our limiting beliefs. Now I’m practicing, when things are good, how about they get even better?

Even though we may face a challenge here, is a miracle in the making over there?

Please let go of the belief that bad things happen in 3! Omg, what a limit that is! And it’s deep seated in most of us. Why does it tend to happen though you ask? Because you believe it will. And it does. You’re not wrong. I’ve seen it happen too! But no more of that silliness. Join me in changing that belief to - when one bad thing happens, 2 amazing things also happen! This isn’t hard, it’s just different.

Either way you will see your reality (an accumulation of your beliefs and limits) come to fruition. This is another way for me to ask you to ‘expect’ a better outcome - no matter where you currently are. Right now my new mantra is - my relationships are great and becoming even greater!

Where could you adjust your limits? Reach for that even better place.

All my love and support,
Kristi 💛
