A reason for living. One word.

Hey there!

I think about this a lot! In the good times and bad.

I believe the reason for life is to simply F E E L.

I think all of the 5 senses were created so we can feel something.

I think if we stop feeling, that’s an avenue for depression. Think about it - how good does it feel to ________.

  • Laugh out loud

  • Make love

  • Eat your favorite foods

  • Catch a baby’s smile

  • Kiss passionately/lovingly

  • Witness a kind act

  • Watch a great movie

  • Love your outfit

  • Feel attractive

  • Brush your teeth

  • Listen to a great song

All of these things create a feeling. I think being bored would be awful because there would be no feelings being conjured up.

Anti-depressants are like a flat line. A numbness. Kind of boring. The highs and lows are necessary for a full life! Every argument can lead to a make-up. Every sadness gets replaced with joy at some point. Every disappointment creates your understanding of what’s important to you. Every lost love makes the next one more delicious.

We need to FEEL things. It’s what makes us human and creates a collective of compassion for all others going through what we’ve gone through.

Even the terrible feeling of loss, creates the feeling of knowing love. That’s beautiful.

A feeling of hunger creates a feeling of satisfaction once satiated.

When actually, do we not feel?

Everything produces something, and I think it’s a feeling.

Anyway, that’s what I’ve been thinking about for a long time now.

I feel grateful for all my feelings. The good and the bad. 💋

All my love to you,
K 💛

Throughout my 20+ years of studying and learning to love and accept myself - no matter what, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and lightness, and a knowing that only I can create my own reality. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Let me help you get to yours!
