Who supports you?

Hello there!

You’ve heard the saying, it takes a village to raise a child.

I know for me it sure has! I too, need a village.

Support comes in many forms, such as:

  • A shoulder to cry on

  • Financial support

  • People who point out your faults to make you look at where you could be better, if you choose to

  • Someone who helps you sort out your challenges

  • The wonderful knowledge in the world you can find at your fingertips anytime you need it

  • A person who you know will pick up the phone at 2 AM or will pick you up after a party

  • Someone who can make you laugh

  • Someone who will sit with you and listen and validate it's ok to feel the way you do

  • People who cook for you… and many more!

You can see here how many different people do support you. It just depends on what you need, and who you call on. Loneliness occurs when you don’t make the calls your heart needs.

Support is all around you, and you can see that support often doesn’t come from just one person. Nor should it. That’s a tall order to put on one person.

Your boss provides a paycheck, but pretty sure that’s not who you’re calling drunk at 2 AM! Ha, maybe?!

So, identify your need for support and make the CORRECT call. Only you know what you need, and calling the wrong person can make you feel worse actually.

And don’t forget about the support you might take for granted. The sun, your body, your bed, food, the air you breathe. You see, you are always supported. Just depends on the lens in which you are looking from.

All my love and support to you today. 🌞

I can be many things to many people, but I can’t be all things to all people. This is true for you too.

K 💛

I am an energetic gal who is captivated by the human condition. I believe in exploring all life experiences to learn and grow. Throughout my 20+ years of studying and learning to love and accept myself - no matter what, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and lightness, and a knowing that only I can create my own reality. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Let me help you get to yours!
