Darling friend,
I did a meditation on this and it really resonated!
When I think about my ‘intentions’ for the day or month or year, it feels like I’m only halfway. But when I say, I expect… (what it is I desire), it’s like a full bodied disclaimer. And remember, I don’t have to figure out how or who or when. I just expect it to come right on time. When it’s supposed to.
I also know that sometimes what I think I need, may not be what I really need. That’s where trust and faith comes in. A little surrender helps here. You allow what’s supposed to happen, to happen. Open hearted, open minded and it's exciting to not know.
So expect what you desire, just don’t attach to it. Another good mantra I love to use is: “this, or something better!”
Since words hold power, write out your goals, intentions or desires with an expectation.
I expect to be cherished and create deep intimacy with my man
I expect to attract new clients with ease
I expect miracles (above and beyond what my mortal mind can conceive)
I expect to be a corporate coach
I expect my mind, body and health to be strong
I expect love and support from my friends and family
I expect my finances to continue to flourish
I expect to stay in the flow
Those are some of mine. What are some of yours? Write them out. There is power in writing! Also remember that you wouldn’t have a desire if you weren’t meant to have it. Don’t question it. Allow yourself to dream without talking yourself out of it.
An intention is like trying, but it doesn’t have enough conviction! This is full power and a hell yeah!
Of course, I’m not ‘right’ about any of this. I’m just sharing my evolution with you. Do whatever feels and works best for you.
I used to be taught (and believed) expectations can create disappointment. But I see it differently now. To expect seems more powerful. And I’m always experimenting! I hope you have as much fun with this as I am!
I expect your desires to become your reality! 💃
All my love,
K 💛
