Do you set your intention each day?
I’m curious - how do you begin your days?
We are habitual creatures, so I think it’s important to create good habits, and what you do first thing in the morning is a great thing to look at.
Morning quiet contemplation is a great start. Right before you open your eyes, when you are just coming out of your sleep state, I want you to ask yourself, “how do I want to feel today” or “what do I want to notice.”
The reason I want you to do this is because I just experienced once again the ‘magic’ of what can happen when you do.
My morning statement recently was, I want to notice miracles and blessings today. Allow me the consciousness to notice, even the small ones. Here’s what happened:
I got a call shortly after getting up, from someone who has struggled with diet and food addiction for a long time. I learned that she has gotten way better and it's barely an issue for her anymore. She no longer lives in her obsession of calorie counting, looks great and feels amazing. I’d call that a miracle. 🙏
Then, my 9 year old niece calls me absolutely ecstatic because she gets to go and learn about and ride horses on a ranch. A gift given to her by her parents. She’s been in love with horses since she knew what they were. I could feel the joy in her heart as she told me all about her new adventure. This was a miracle if you asked her! 🐴
I was thinking about someone I had helped the day before and was wondering if I had actually helped him. Boom. He texted that he was in the middle of doing his inner reflection and wanted to make sure he was doing it correctly. Joy filled my heart. I got my answer! 👌
I won’t go on, but this happened all day. And the only reason I noticed ALL of them, was because of my intention to see them.
I’m still blown away by the magic. Now go, and experience the power of being intentional.
