Come out of the dark into the light

Hello dear one,

My destination is about love. How do I/we become more loving? For myself and for all others. What’s your destination?

My commitment is to kindly love everyone. To allow the light within me to occupy all my spaces and then to shine it outwards. It’s my job to keep my light on. I don’t do this right all the time. What’s your commitment?

Where there isn’t light, there’s darkness. The dark is where I’m sad, confused, scared and alone. If you’ve heard of the shadow, this is it. It’s where we’re triggered, wherein lies the pain. It’s the ugly parts of ourselves that aren’t acknowledged and certainly not accepted. It’s our judgment and lack of love.

As I embrace my light, I guide others to find theirs. It’s in there. This isn’t a formula, it’s a process. The process is called your life. Your desires, experiences, opinions, conclusions, challenges, highs, lows and everything in between.

And dark isn’t evil. Think of it as the light at the end of a tunnel. You travel the darkness towards the light. The dark isn’t bad. It’s the process of traveling from what's not wanted towards what is. That’s why it’s a journey. These things take time.

Then we need to thank the dark in order to transmute it. Think of the sun. It’s so bright nothing can get through. Things dissipate as nothing can touch it. (I translate that into way less triggers)! When what used to cause you bitterness and reaction, is now responded to with curiosity, love and acceptance.

The skills we acquire along the way are the layers upon which we create this new vantage point. Until we look within ourselves, witness the pain, make the necessary changes within, we will expect the world to deliver our goods. This is the job of the ego. Acquire from ‘outside’ so you can feel better inside. You won’t be satisfied here for long. Not with the speed at which the world is evolving.

I will often remind you - no matter what - you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Continue to be kind and learn about yourself. More important than where you’re going, is who you’re being.

Try to enjoy the journey. And let’s hope it’s long! 🤩

Kristi 💛

I am an energetic gal who is captivated by the human condition. I believe in exploring all life experiences to learn and grow. Throughout my 20+ years of studying and learning to love and accept myself - no matter what, I have come to realize that there is no ‘right’ path or way to experience life, other than head on, with accountability, a sense of humor and lightness, and a knowing that only I can create my own reality. And this is true for everyone. You create your own reality. Let me help you get to yours!
